TitleClash 4: Stahr, International Incident, Malloy, Solar Powers
Today’s update features two announcements – both involve title matches this Saturday at TitleClash 4!
The WWC has a tradition of inviting other federations to defend their championships on TitleClash, and this year is no exception. Former WWC World Heavyweight Champion JT Stahr is slated to defend the WWA Heavyweight Championship against an as-yet-unnamed opponent. Normally this would be cause for concern, but JT has never been defeated on a TitleClash – and has even won a championship (TitleClash 3 vs. Cody Hawk) – so it’s a good bet that Stahr will be bringing his “A” game.
Our latest news comes in the form of some heated exchanges in regards to International Incident and the Solar Powers. The rivalry between these two groups has been boiling for some time, with North American Champion and International Incident spokesman Terry Reines blaming the Solar Powers’ manager Will Profit of manipulating the Committee. Although there is no evidence to support this, Profit is a keen strategist, most recently goading Reines into wrestling a match with one hand tied behind his back. Profit won the match, causing a mortified Reines to swear revenge, lobbying the Executive Committee to qualify Profit as a wrestler and place him in a match against Reines.
After a review of the show tapes, the Committee chose not to honor Reines’ request. Terry is still slated to defend his title in a Ladder Match against “Penthouse Playboy” Jimmy Malloy, the very man who pinned Reines last month. Furthermore, the Solar Powers are slated to challenge International Incident’s team of Nikita Allanov and Eddie Gonzale for the WWC Tag Team Championship at TitleClash 4. Will this be the final battle between the two groups, or is this just another salvo in their war?
Fans, with matches like this, you do NOT want to miss TitleClash 4 this Saturday! Head down to the Aberdeen Municipal Building at 99 Cross Main Street, when our doors open at 6:00 PM and TitleClash starts at 7:00 PM for one of WWC’s most important shows of the year!
