History: Matt Taylor began with IWA’s Youth Class at age 13, and when he turned 18 he joined IWA full time quickly rising to the top of the company. He made his WWC debut in 2007 alongside then girlfriend Miss McKenzie. Quickly became a fan favorite and captured the North American Championship at KOE 2008. Since then he has established himself in HWA, MPW and Ohio Hatchet Wrestling. Made the leap to Main Event in 2008 with a match of the year showdown with Aaron Williams for the vacant WWC Championship. Matt Taylor entered a war with The Administration and Dean “The Dream” Jablonski, who stole McKenzie from him. They say war changes a person, and such was certainly the case here. Matt walked away with a far more grim outlook on life and wrestling, accentuated by a more aggressive style that cost him many of his friends – but gained him a manager in the form of Violent Bob. Notably, he did all he could to keep former friend and rival Aaron Williams out of contendership for the WWC Heavyweight title, a championship Matt just acquired from J.T. Stahr.
