WWC Rest In Peace: A Challenge From Bennet Cole
Those of you who saw his impressive debut earlier this year knew that “Black Sheep” Bennet Cole was going to someday soon become a force in professional wrestling. Cole was unwilling to wait for his opportunity, and instead has a few choice things to say in the video interview he sent along to the WWC offices last week. If you haven’t had the opportunity to watch the video from WWC’s official facebook page, then check out the video below to see what he has to say!
Patriot Games Results – New Champion!
Saturday, September 11th saw not only the WWC’s first annual Patriot Games event, but also a riotous night new grudges were born and longstanding rivalries were revisited.
The show began when Patrick Black informed WWC Heavyweight Champion Matt Taylor that Aberdeen Police Chief Clark Gast was on hand – and would guarantee that the match between Taylor and Shark Boy would happen! Chief Gast would also be taking a special ringside enforcer role, to prevent Taylor from using his normal shenanigans to escape facing the TNA Superstar. Afterward, Patrick Black addressed Will Profit, informing Profit that he had heard Profit’s concerns about International Incident – then he went so far as to guarantee that the match would be 2 on 2, and that International Incident would see no outside interference on their behalf.
We moved on to our first match, as Princeton Travis and Marvel Trice faced off against the first pairing of JT Stahr and Dave Nevada. Although Stahr and Nevada are great singles wrestlers, their lack of time as a team allowed Travis and Trice to take the upper hand and eventually the win.
Our next match saw “Superstar” Shawn Parks continue his recent run of homages to wrestling legends – Park appeared as none other than Sgt. Slaughter when he faced off against Malo Pescado. Parks used Slaughter’s own feared Cobra Clutch to get the victory.
DDK came out to address the crowd, complaining once more about the lack of a scheduled match. He went on to say how pathetic is was, in his opinion, that the two people fighting for the North American title on TitleClash were Terry Reines and Jimmy Malloy – neither of whom DDK considers fit to represent North America. On that subject, DDK found a service member in the crowd, and invited him into the ring to “show everyone someone worthy of representing America”. It was a trick, though, as DDK hit the service member from behind, prompting Jimmy Malloy out of the back for the rescue. Malloy challenged DDK to a match right there, which DDK won with his feet on the ropes for extra leverage.
DJ Tom Sharp took on the returning Justin Hollins, now referring to himself as Justin 2.0 and with a more… aggressive attitude than had been previously witnessed. Sharp’s offense confounded the youngster, and the DJ ended up with the win.
After intermission, Devlin Anderson continued his dominant win streak by taking out Gary Horowitz with his patented spinebuster.
Terry Reines then appeared, with the rest of International Incident (Nikita Allanov and Eddy Gonzales) shortly behind him. The trio most certainly no longer appeared on the same page, as Nikita and Eddy blamed Terry’s vendetta against Will profit for their loss of the WWC Tag Team Titles to Profit’s Solar Powers team at TitleClash. In order to let bygones be bygones, Nikita and Eddy signed a contract on Terry’s behalf for a North American title defense that night… against none other than Aaron Williams!
Terry was taken aback by the sudden match and the rest of II’s disappearance as soon as Aaron appeared. Unprepared, Terry fought hard, but Aaron’s frog splash hit Reines for the win and a NEW WWC North American Champion!
Following that was one of the highlights of the evening… Will Profit led the Solar Powers (Jake Ashworth and Eclipso) against International Incident (Nikita Allanov and Eddy Gonzales) in a Flag Match for the WWC Tag Team Titles! Four flags adorned the corners of the ring, with each team needing to retrieve both of their flags and return them to the referee in order to win. Things looked bad for the Solar Powers when Nikita Allanov tied Eclipso’s mask to the bottom rope, nullifying him – until Will Profit acquired *another* mask, and using a towel and a pair of scissors, freed Eclipso from his old mask and got him into a new one! This allowed Eclipso to grab the final flag and return it to the referee while hitting Nikita with a high cross body to the outside at the same time, securing the win for the WWC Tag Team Champions in their first defense!
This was far from over, though – as Marvel Trice and Princeton Travis attacked the champions, looking to make a name for themselves. WWC Commissioner Patrick Black interjected himself once more, grabbing a chair and forcing the duo out of the ring – only to turn around and smack Will profit with the chair from behind! Only the timely intervention of WWC Executive Committee member and Talent Relations manager Ric Byrne prevented Black from using the chair again. As he left, he announced that Travis and Trice – now to be known as the Brotherhood – were his new foray into managing in the WWC!
In our final match of the evening, WWC Heavyweight Champion Matt Taylor squared up against the biggest threat to his title to date – TNA Superstar Shark Boy! Although it appeared that Shark Boy had the match won, the canny Taylor disqualified himself and attempted to leave the arena – only to be stopped by Chief Gast! Although the match was over, Shark boy achieved some measure of satisfaction when he laid the Champion out cold with his Dead Sea Drop version of the Stunner!
If you missed this one, fans, you missed a doozy – make sure that you head out to WWC’s Rest In Peace on Saturday, October 9th to see the fallout from this amazing show!
WWC Patriot Games: The Return Of Shark Boy
For WWC’s first Patriot Games show, we have a double main event that will knock your socks off!
We’ll start with the Patriot Games match itself – the “International Incident” team of Nikita Allanov and Eddy Gonzales will be facing off against the team that defeated them for the WWC Tag Team Championship last month – Will Profit’s Solar Powers team of Jake Ashworth and Eclipso!
The flag of each team members representative country will be attached to the ring, forcing each team to try and capture their opponent’s flags in order to win. Given how angry Eddy & Nikita were at their loss, you can beat that they’re going to pull out all of the stops trying to reclaim the titles.
And in even bigger news, Aberdeen Police Chief Clark Gast has called in TNA’s very own Shark Boy to help “take a bite out of crime” in the form of WWC World Heavyweight Champion Matt Taylor. At TitleClash last month, Chief Gast and Taylor had a very violent confrontation – so Chief Gast asked the WWC Executive Committee for permission to not only bring in the Finned One, but to have him face Taylor for the title.
This is going to be a day of great WWC action – stop by early, as Chief Gast will be hosting events from 3:00 on, including a grill out, dunking booth, and a split the pot raffle with a prize up to $1000! Bell time for this special show is 6:30, so get there early to get your seat! See you next Saturday, September 11th at the Aberdeen Municipal Building!
TitleClash 4 Results
Fans, if you missed TitleClash, then all we can say is that you didn’t see what is being called one fo the most epic nights in WWC History…
To start the show, Patrick Black called out Matt Taylor, officially confirming that Matt’s title defense against Aaron Williams was going to be a Last Man Standing match. Taylor, rather unhappy with the Executive Committee’s declaration, fired back at Black saying “I promise you that match will not happen”.
Afterwards, Superstar Shawn Parks (who looked and sounded an awful lot like the Rock) defeated Marvel Trice via pinfall.
Next up, JT Stahr prepared to defend his WWA Heavyweight Title against Malo Pescado. However, this didn’t happen – as DDK came out to interrupt the match. DDK chased off Pescado, then lamented that after serving his suspension, he wasn’t booked into a match on TitleClash. He told JT Stahr that Stahr deserved “A better competition” than Pescado, challenging JT to a match right there. JT accepted, but came out on the losing side when DDK snuck in a crafty blow behind the referee’s back.
Afterwards, DDK debuted an poster that had a list of things that Ric Byrne had done in his career – on it, DDK checked off “Win another company’s title on a WWC show”, telling Ric (who was at ringside on commentary) that there would be more.
Next up, the ever-popular DJ Tom Sharp looked like he might be heading to victory over Princeton Travis when Travis’ partner, Marvel Trice, interjected himself int he match. The duo beat on Sharp for several minutes, until President Patrick Black physically got between them and Sharp, commanding them to the back or face suspensions.
We were next honored by a visit from Aberdeen Police Chief Clark Gast. Chief Gast announced that WWC’s September 11th show, Patriot Games, would be a fundraiser to benefit the Aberdeen K-9 Unit. Mmidway through his presentation, Matt Taylor arrived, openly mocking the Chief and the people of Aberdeen. When Chief Gast let slip that he wasn’t on duty – Matt Taylor struck the Chief, shortly thereafter being tackled to the ground and handcuffed by Aberdeen Police. before they left the building with Taylor, however, Chief Gast called the officers back – the Chief figured out that Matt Taylor was trying to get out of his scheduled match with Aaron Williams! Rather than be used as an “out” by Taylor, Chief Gast ordered the officers to take Taylor backstage, delaying his arrest until AFTER Taylor’s title defense!
In a brutal ladder match, “Penthouse Playboy” Jimmy Malloy faced off against North American Champion Terry Reines of International Incident. Both competitors brought their A game, several times each appearing to have finally beaten the other before Reines finally retrieved his title for the win. Even in losing, though, Malloy was very impressive, something that the Executive Committee has been buzzing about ever since!
In a long-awaited confrontation, the remaining members of International Incident (Nikita Allanov and Eddy Gonzales) faced off against Will Profit’s team of the Solar Powers (Jake Ashworth and Eclipso). In a quick paced high octane match, the Solar Powers finally triumphed, becoming the NEW WWC Tag Team Champions in the process after interference from Terry Reines backfired! Afterwards, the trio took out their frustrations on the Solar Powers, then turned to attack Will Profit – only to be stopped by the appearance of DDK!
Once International Incident left ringside, DDK went over to “What Did Ric Byrne Do?” poster, revealing a line stating “Save Will Profit”. After checking this off, DDK returned to the ring… and attacked Profit, laying him out! DDK then revealed ANOTHER line on the poster, this one saying “Betray Will Profit”, while Security and Patrick Black contained a furious Ric Byrne.
In our final match of the evening, Aaron Williams and Matt Taylor put everything on the line for the WWC World Heavyweight Title. Nothing in the building was safe from being used as a weapon as each man tried to keep their opponent down for a 10 count. After an exhausting 40 minutes, Taylor finally kept Williams down after smashing Aaron with various chairs nearly 20 times! Barely able to stand himself, Matt Taylor staggered to the back, jeering in the face of Chief Gast as he went.
TitleClash 4: Aberdeen Police Chief To Make Announcement
The World Wrestling Coalition has always been proud to support the local community whenever possible. The WWC has made the Aberdeen Municipal Building our home, meaning that we’ve been working next to the Aberdeen police and other administrative personnel for a very long time. This Saturday, Aberdeen Chief of Police Clark Gast will be on hand to make an announcement detailing the next initiative by WWC to be a part of the community.
Speaking of local pride, everyone is buzzing in regards to “Superstar” Shawn Parks. After taking a Nikita Allanov DDT to a chair, Shawn has been acting… strangely. In the matches he’s had since then, Parks has shown multiple facets, often imitating wrestlers he idolized or worked with during his career. When pressed about it, Parks only says that he “gets confused sometimes”. So at TitleClash, will we see the Superstar we know and love – or will we be treated to another one of wrestling’s legends?
From top to bottom, this is a show NOT to be missed for any reason! In addition to all of your normal WWC favorites, you’re going to see:
JT Stahr defend the WWA Heavyweight Title
For the WWC Tag Team Championship
The Solar Powers (Jake Ashworth & Eclipso w/Will Profit) vs. International Incident (Nikita Allanov & Eddy Gonzales, champions)
In a LADDER MATCH for the WWC North American Championship
“Penthouse Playboy” Jimmy Malloy vs. International Incident’s Terry Reines (champion)
In a LAST MAN STANDING match for the WWC World Heavyweight Championship
“Angelis Assasin” Aaron Williams vs. “Darkstar” Matt Taylor (champion).
We will see you in Aberdeen this Saturday, August 14th as we Present TitleClash 4!
@The Aberdeen Municipal Building

Aberdeen, OH 45101
Show Time: 7:00 PM
TitleClash 4: Stahr, International Incident, Malloy, Solar Powers
Today’s update features two announcements – both involve title matches this Saturday at TitleClash 4!
The WWC has a tradition of inviting other federations to defend their championships on TitleClash, and this year is no exception. Former WWC World Heavyweight Champion JT Stahr is slated to defend the WWA Heavyweight Championship against an as-yet-unnamed opponent. Normally this would be cause for concern, but JT has never been defeated on a TitleClash – and has even won a championship (TitleClash 3 vs. Cody Hawk) – so it’s a good bet that Stahr will be bringing his “A” game.
Our latest news comes in the form of some heated exchanges in regards to International Incident and the Solar Powers. The rivalry between these two groups has been boiling for some time, with North American Champion and International Incident spokesman Terry Reines blaming the Solar Powers’ manager Will Profit of manipulating the Committee. Although there is no evidence to support this, Profit is a keen strategist, most recently goading Reines into wrestling a match with one hand tied behind his back. Profit won the match, causing a mortified Reines to swear revenge, lobbying the Executive Committee to qualify Profit as a wrestler and place him in a match against Reines.
After a review of the show tapes, the Committee chose not to honor Reines’ request. Terry is still slated to defend his title in a Ladder Match against “Penthouse Playboy” Jimmy Malloy, the very man who pinned Reines last month. Furthermore, the Solar Powers are slated to challenge International Incident’s team of Nikita Allanov and Eddie Gonzale for the WWC Tag Team Championship at TitleClash 4. Will this be the final battle between the two groups, or is this just another salvo in their war?
Fans, with matches like this, you do NOT want to miss TitleClash 4 this Saturday! Head down to the Aberdeen Municipal Building at 99 Cross Main Street, when our doors open at 6:00 PM and TitleClash starts at 7:00 PM for one of WWC’s most important shows of the year!
WWC Executive Committee Adds Ric Byrne as Talent Relations Manager
The WWC Executive Committee today announced an addition to their membership. Ric Byrne has been added to the Committee, filling the currently vacant role of Talent Relations Manager.
Ric Byrne’s history with the WWC begins at the very formation of the company. He’s been a solid competitor on both sides of the fence, holding and defending every major title in the WWC over the course of the past 7 years. Recent injuries forced him to the side, an event which frustrated Byrne to no end. Not content to be a background player, Byrne has been working hard at every WWC show since, trying to find a continued role within the company.
Executive Committee Chairperson Dustin Walken commented that “We’re very pleased that Ric Byrne has accepted the offer to join our ranks. His wealth of experience inside the wrestling industry along with his dedicated work ethic have made him the ideal candidate to manage, mentor and evaluate the WWC’s roster of talent on a permanent basis. We look forward to seeing the positive impact Mr. Byrne’s continued guidance to our established and upcoming talent will have.”
This does pose the question – Dangerous Damien Kass has been hinting for the past several months that he’s found a new mentor, with all the signs pointing to it being Ric Byrne. In fact, DDK was recently suspended for a show due to using Ric Byrne’s banned finishing manuever, the 3rd Degree. Byrne has denied the claim repeatedly, stating that DDK is “just using my name to try and get attention” – but then how does that mesh with the above photo, sent to us last week by an anonymous source? Are Byrne and DDK engaging in a war of the words in public, or is there more to DDK’s claims than Byrne has admitted?
Either way it goes, this relationship is one to keep your eye on as DDK is available to return from suspension at TitleClash 4 – but so far, no match has been announced featuring DDK. We here at wwcweb.com may not b e able to guarantee DDK has a match at the next show, but we can tell you that much like Ric Byrne, DDK can’t stand to sit on the sidelines. We’ll be keeping an eye out for DDK this Saturday at TitleClash 4 for sure!
TitleClash 4: Last Man Standing!
The Executive Committee of the World Wrestling Coalition has promised that the week leading up to TitleClash 4 will be filled with a number of announcements about the event and the company. Fans, this first one is a doozy – the scheduled match between WWC Heavyweight Champion Matt Taylor and challenger Aaron Williams will now be fought under Last Man Standing rules!
For those of you who missed Midsummer’s Nightmare, Aaron Williams started the night with a win over Malo Pescado, and an open declaration – he was going to be cashing in his title shot as the King of Extreme 2010 winner against whomever the champion would be at TitleClash 4!
This did not sit well at all with Matt Taylor, pushing the already on-edge wrestler overboard. After Taylor retained his title against the former champion JT Stahr – he then turned on his own manager, Violent Bob! After bloodying Bob and humiliating him by cutting off Bob’s hair, Matt screamed out a warning to Williams – if this is what Taylor was willing to do to win the title, then what would he be willing to do to keep it?
The Executive Committee looked over a number of options for this match before finally deciding that the match needed to be fought under Last Man Standing rules. This means the only way to win is for one of the two wrestlers to put the other one down for a 10-Count… possibly the only way to end this burning rivalry once and for all!
You do NOT want to miss this match when WWC returns to Aberdeen this Saturday, August 14th with TitleClash 4! In the meantime, keep your eyes peeled here and at WWC’s official MySpace and FaceBook sites for more announcements throughout the week!
BREAKING NEWS: Midsummer’s Nightmare – WWC World Heavyweight Title Rematch!

Fans were shocked at Pandemonium when Matt Taylor walked out of the 4 Way Dance as the new WWC World Heavyweight Champion. Ever the cagey one, Matt struck when opportunity presented itself, gaining what many have called a tainted victory to capture his first reign as WWC World Heavyweight Champion. The Executive Committee have informed us here at WWCWeb.com today that they’ve decided to eliminate the variables and present the man Taylor deposed as champion, JT Stahr, a one on one opportunity to reclaim the title!
What’s not yet known is how this sits with either of the two other particpants in the 4 Way Dance at Pandemonium – Aaron Williams or “Dangerous” Damien Kass. Rumor has been buzzing around the WWC offices that Aaron has requested time to speak at Midsummer’s Nightmare, presumably to address his longtime rival Matt Taylor. We’ll have to wait a little longer to hear from DDK, though – when DDK used the banned “3rd Degree” manuever in the Fatal 4 Way (the second usage fo the banned move in a row), the Executive Committee handed down a suspension to the rough and tumble bruiser. Will the time off give DDK a chance to consider his actions, or will it just force his legendary anger to simmer longer?
Fans, I highly recommend you get your tickets for Midsummer’s Nightmare now to guarantee a seat for what is already shaping up to be a premiere WWC event! We’ll see you in Aberdeen on July 10th!
WWC Pandemonium 2010 Results – New Champion!
Saturday, June 12th was another momentous night in the history of the World Wrestling Coalition, featuring a change in the championship roster!
The evening started with “The Dark Angel” Mike West standing in for the absent Eclipso as The Solar Powers (Jake Ashworth and manager Will Profit) defeated the team of Princeton Travis and Marvel Trice.
WWC World Heavyweight Champion JT Stahr came out to address the fans after the completion of his recent tour of Thailand and Japan. He was shortly interrupted by DDK (with Naughtia), Matt Taylor (with Violent Bob) and Aaron Williams, all claiming to have a valid contendership for the WWC World Heavyweight Championship! JT decided to have everyone put aside their contenderships and claims – instead, he would face them all in the evening’s main event!
Newly crowned North American Champion Terry Reines defeated DJ Tom Sharp to retain his title.
Continuing the theme of returns, Dave Nevada and Devlin Anderson reformed to face down WWC Tag Team Champions International Incident. The duo of Nikita Allanov and Eddy Gonzales skated away with their titles intact after being disqualified when Terry Reines interfered in the match, striking Dave Nevada.
“The Penthouse Playboy” Jimmy Malloy entered the Tri-State Rumble match first and outlasted all other entrants to win the battle royal and claim the $1000 prize. “Superstar” Shawn Parks returned to the ring after sufferring a concussion from a Nikita Allanov piledriver last month – although the slightly confused Superstar was dressed and acting in a way very reminiscint of the Ultimate Warrior!
“The Dark Star” Matt Taylor (with Violent Bob) defeated JT Stahr, Aaron Williams and DDK to become the new WWC World Heavyweight Champion. Opportunity was created for Taylor when DDK used the banned “3rd Degree” manuever (in a misguided attempt to emulate his unwilling “mentor” Ric Byrne). Using the move had DDK disqualified and banned from the match, yet JT Stahr had taken the damage from the move nonetheless. Taylor seized the moment to grab the pin and his first reign as WWC World Heavyweight Champion.
There’s sure to be plenty of fallout from this one, folks – word is that JT has already appealed to the Executive Committee to get a singles rematch against Taylor. For his second usage of the banned 3rd Degree, DDK has been suspended and will not be appearing at WWC’s MidSummer’s Nightmare on July 10th. How will all of this play out? Stay tuned right here fans for more information!
