WWC Resolution: First Show of 2012 This Saturday

The World Wrestling Coalition is welcoming the new year in Russellville, OH as they present Resolution!

When the WWC presents its first show of the year, it will be at the Rambler Center, located at 203 East Main St, Russellville, OH 45168. And fans, you’ll want to head out to this event, as we start 2012 off with a bang! The show even opens earlier than normal, with a special 6:30 start time!

Dean Jablonski will get his hands on Nick Cutler in a Lumberjack Match, making it nearly impossible for the wily Cutler to escape. Even worse for Cutler is that Jablonski found success with Jimmy Malloy when the two tagged as part of the Unbreakable tournament, meaning that Jablonski will have an extra set of eyes to thwart Cutler’s shenanigans.

Speaking of the Unbreakable tournament, it ended in high fashion when the Solar Powers reclaimed the WWC Tag Team Championship from Princeton Travis and Marvel Trice. The fact that they accomplished this is made even more impressive when you take into account the devious double assault, early in the tournament by The Revolution and then again by the returning Ben Kimera (and the Detroit Rock City team of CW Scott and GeeGee). The Solar Powers are both in action and so is Kimera – will their paths cross again?

Finally, the Revolution’s own Matt Taylor will be defending the WWC World Heavyweight Title, even though his Revolution cohort Aaron Williams will not be in attendance. Taylor is one of the best technical wrestlers on the roster, although his rage tends to overcome his focus when Aaron’s not present. Will he be able to hold it together to defend the title, or will he explode again?

This and several more matches as WWC continue to showcase the best in current and developing wrestlers in the region. You never know who’s going to make an appearance unless you witness it first hand! Make plans this Saturday to be at the Rambler Center, 203 East Main St, Russellville, OH 45168, with the special start time of 6:30 PM!

WWC’S 8th Anniversary – UNBREAKABLE!

October 17, 2011 by WWC Owner

November 12th, 2011 is just around the corner, bringing with it two things very important to wrestling fans: WWC’s 8th Anniversary, and the annual Unbreakable tournament!

To win a tournament in this sport is no easy feat – but the winner has a chance to prove they are Unbreakable when they face the champion(s) THAT NIGHT after winning the competition!

Last year, WWC saw a singles tournament that ended when Devlin Anderson stood triumphant with not just the tournament win, but also as the new WWC World Heavyweight Champion! This year, we’re focusing on tag teams, which means once the tournament winners finish off their final opponents, they have to face The Brotherhood!

The Brotherhood is keenly aware of this fact, and have decided that there won’t be a repeat – they’ve taken aim at every one of their rivals in the past few months, doing anything they can to harass and hurt anyone who stands a chance at winning. With teams like The Solar Powers, Life Power Church, and the new dastardly duo of Aaron Williams and Matt Taylor in play, that’s possibly the smartest move the reigning champions can make!

Speaking of “smart moves”, Dean Jablonski has petitioned the Board of Directors for a match with Nick Cutler, the man who has a habit of bailing when the going gets rough. WWC Interim Commissioner Nikita Allanov not only liked this idea, he decided to make it a lumberjack match, guaranteeing that Cutler can’t easily fade away!

More details will be coming soon – but in the meantime, keep your eyes peeled for more information here and at WWC’s official Facebook page, then be ready to meet us on Saturday, November 12th, 2011 at the Aberdeen Community Center as WWC presents UNBREAKABLE!

The WWC marches into its biggest show of the year with a stacked deck like no other, this is one not to be missed!

In our Main Event, new WWC Heavvyweight Champion Jake Ashworth faces the man who beat him just two short months ago, former champion Matt Taylor! This is going to be one for the record books as two of our finest take each other on for the biggest prize in the WWC!

The Black Irish Saints (DDK and Devlin Anderson) have reconciled in order to put WWC Tag Team Champions The Brotherhood (Marvel Trice & Princeton Travis) in their place – which is pinned to the mat, according to BIS. Nevermind who is going to walk out with the titles, we’re concerned with who will be able to walk at all once this simmering rivalry finally boils over!

North American Champion Jimmy Malloy has taken on all comers for his belt – but none like “Hardcore” Heather Owens. Although Jimmy is reluctant to fight Heather, he’s sworn to uphold his word as the WWC’s “fighting champion”, so we know he’ll do whatever it takes to win!

Patrick Black has promised to make a statement regarding the appointment of “Violent” Bob Humperdink as the interim WWC Commissioner.

Will Profit has another edition of “Who Wants to be a Solar Power?” – Profit’s search for a new tag team partner for Eclipso!

While we’re discussing the best wrestling action in the world, we’d like to take a moment to congratulate Scarry Garry, Gee Gee, DDK, Cody Hawk and WWC alumni Ben Kimera, Sami Callihan and Dean Ambrose (Jon Moxley), all of whom were listed among the best wrestlers in the world as part of PWI’s annual 500 list. They join WWC luminaries such as Ric Byrne, Eddie Gonzales, Devlin Anderson, Rory Fox, Pepper Parks, Quinten Lee, JT Stahr and more as some of the elite in the business.

Three big championship matches and much more, including many of your WWC favorites in action such as “Mr. 9.5″ Justin Neal, the high flying masked warrior Eclipso, International Incident’s Ed Gonzales and more! Since there are always surprises and wackiness at a WWC event, you can be guaranteed that there will be much, much more for wrestling fans of all ages!

Be there this weekend, August 13th as the WWC presents TitleClash V at the Aberdeen Municipal Building, 99 Main Cross St., Aberdeen, OH. Doors open around 6:30, with bell time at roughly 7:00PM!

Pandemonium Quick Results

July 14, 2011 by WWC Owner

For those of you who didn’t make it out to Pandemonium, you missed what many are calling a “turning point” for the WWC in 2011!

The big news is that WWC World heavyweight Champion “Dangerous” Damien Kass was dethroned by Jake Ashworth! This is the first time that Jake has held the WWC’s biggest prize, something that even former champion DDK recognized after the match by handing the belt over to Jake personally. We here at WWCWeb.com would also like to send our congratulations over to Ashworth!

Ashworth won’t have much time to rest, though – TitleClash is right around the corner. We already know who Jake’s first opponent will be, as Matt Taylor finally broke his losing streak against Devlin Anderson to win the #1 Contendership! So out TitleClash main event will be new champion Jake Ashworth against a former champion who beat Jake just a month ago at Last Laugh!

That’s not the only piece of TitleClash that shaped up from that particular match. After Taylor beat Devlin, the Brotherhood resumed their attack on anyone who might be a contender. This brought out DDK, who claimed he was tired of the Brotherhood’s interference, asking Devlin Anderson to partner with him at TitleClash to take on the Brotherhood!

We bid a fond farewell to Scarry Garry, who was one of two contestants in the inaugural “Who Wants To Be A Solar Power” contest. The other contestant, Justin Neal, felt slighted by Will Profit throughout the event, eventually challenging Garry to a match. Although Neal was triumphant, the fans rose to their feet for Scarry Garry. Even though Scarry Garry is leaving the WWC, he left behind his proteges – Nurse Sarah Bellum, AJB and Zakk Spade – collectively known as the Life Power Church. They intend to honor Garry’s legacy in WWC and look poised to make an impact.

DJ Tom Sharp won the Pandemonium scramble match, defeating Marvel Trice, Princeton Travis, AJB and Jason Legend in the process.

North American Champion Jimmy Malloy held on to his title by putting down Gee Gee.

Eclipso beat Zakk Spades in singles competition.

Pandemonium Strikes WWC This Saturday

July 8, 2011 by WWC Owner

Chaos may reign supreme this Saturday in Aberdeen, OH when WWC brings Pandemonium back for a second year!

The first word on everyone’s lips involves the main event – WWC Heavyweight Champion DDK will defend his title against Jake Ashworth! Jake has been on a roll ever since winning the the King Of Extreme, but his deeds have been marred by the fresh target on his back. With half the locker room out to injure him, will Jake be 100% for his encounter with DDK?

On top of that, DDK has had problems of his own. When Patrick black revealed he was the mastermind behind the attacks on DDK and Devlin Anderson, that riled up the rival grapplers. When they expressed their frustration, the Brotherhood saw fit to interfere in their matches for the evening, solidfying their position as WWC’s #1 bullies. Will DDK be able to fight a war on two fronts, and will Devlin stand against him, or beside him?

On the other hand, Devlin looks to have a better night in front of him. Slated to take on Matt Taylor, someone Devlin has never lost against, it looks like Anderson is just getting ready to get warmed up for TitleClash around the corner. Given that Taylor did his best to injure Jake Ashworth at Grand Slam, Devlin’s probably also looking for some payback for one of his friends. Does Taylor have a plan that might get him a shot against the Re-enforcer?

With Jake Ashworth looking at singles competition, Will Profit is looking for another protege to tag alongside Eclipso. Word has come out that Profit has decided to open this process up somewhat, resulting in he first ever “Will Profit Presents: Who Wants To Be A Solar Power?” Although details aren’t yet available, you can bet that this is going to be one of the more interesting competitions to hit wrestling in a long time.

On top of that, Cody Hawk returns with Chris Carnage – what do this deadly duo have in store for the WWC? Does it involve the Pandemonium match, details of which have only just now begun to surface in the WWC offices?

In sadder news, longtime WWC wrestler Scarry Garry will be making his “farewell” appearance at Pandemonium. We’ve considered Garry one of our favorite performers since the first time he walked through WWC’s doors, and knowing that he’s moving across the country has left many a long face in the front office and the locker room. As a “thank you” for his long tenure with WWC, Garry has been offered a slot in the Pandemonium match – whatever that might be. Come by to say goodbye to one of our own as he leaves to pursue his music career!

You can also expect to see all of your favorite WWC wrestlers, from Jimmy Malloy to Justin Neal, Heavy Metal to GeeGee Bradley all under one roof this Saturday when WWC presents Pandemonium 2011! We’ll see you at the Aberdeen Municipal Building, 99 Main Cross St, Aberdeen OH 45101 this Saturday at 7:00PM!

Grand Slam 2011 – Saturday, June 11th

The action takes place at the Municipal Building in Aberdeen, OH, located at 99 Main Cross St. The venue is just across the bridge from Maysville, Germantown, and Mayslick on the Kentucky side of the river, and is a stone’s throw from Ripley, West Union and Russellville on the Ohio side! Doors open for the event at 6:30pm, and show time is 7:00pm. Tickets are only $8 at the door, and only $6 in advance at any of WWC’s ticket outlets!

Matches already signed for this event include…

WWC Heavyweight Championship Match
“Dangerous” Damien Kass
defends the championship against
2011 “King of Extreme” Jake Ashworth

For almost a year, the duo of Eclipso & Ashworth were proven to be virtually unbeatable as a team. Jake Ashworth has proven to be a tough customer in singles matches as well, by toughing out eight other men to win the 2011 “King of Extreme” for the second time! However, Patrick Black’s Brotherhood were finally able to gain the tag team gold by decimating the knee of Ashworth. Against the advice of his manager Will Profit, Ashworth has decided to cash in his title shot not on a rematch for the WWC Tag Team Championship, but rather gunning for singles glory! “Dangerous” Damien Kass is one of the most aggressive and relentless competitors in WWC, and he will have no mercy on Ashworth – you can be sure he will go after Ashworth’s injured knee in order to retain the championship he fought so long to obtain. Will DDK cripple Ashworth for life? Has Ashworth made a miscalculation of the challenge in front of him? Will any of the other top contenders in WWC resent Ashworth jumping ahead of them in the wait for a title shot? Step up to the plate at Grandslam ’11 to find out!

Domestic Violence Match
Ed Gonzales
squares off with
“Hardcore” Heather Owens

“Malo Pescado” was an impressive newcomer to WWC who had been racking up wins, when he had his masked removed in a match by Ed Gonzales. To the shock of Gonzales and everyone in attendance at the event, Pescado was revealed to be Heather Owens, Gonzales own wife! Gonzales, determined to keep his house in order, cheated his way to a win over Owens, only to see Owens call her husband out and challenge him to a “hardcore” match. Gonzales accepted, and promised to show his wife how a real man takes care of business in his house. Domestic Violence! Anything is legal! Husband versus wife! Will Owens pull of the win against her own spouse? Will Gonzales really be heartless enough to attack his own wife with weapons?

WWC Tag Team Champions Marvel Trice & Princeton Travis, the Brotherhood, will be in action. Manager Patrick Black was banned from Aberdeen when the Brotherhood finally brought home the championship last month – and he has informed the WWC Executive Committee that he has a number of big announcements in the wake of Trice & Travis bringing the gold to Black’s stable.

Plus…

Traditionally, the annual “Grand Slam” event features a four-way match… will four competitors (or teams!) step into the ring to square off in a four-way “Grand Slam” match this Saturday? All of this, plus much more – including many of your WWC favorites and new exciting talent that is looking to make waves in front of the World Wrestling Coalition fans! Plus, there are always surprises and more from the World Wrestling Coalition – “Grand Slam” promises to be a great event for wrestling fans of all ages!

Take Cover: Fallout Hits Aberdeen This Saturday

Because “May-hem” is a corny name!
SATURDAY May 14th – 7:00pm
MUNICIPAL BUILDING – ABERDEEN, OH

The World Wrestling Coalition returns to action with another big event: “Fallout”. The action takes place at the Municipal Building in Aberdeen, OH, located at 99 Main Cross St. The venue is just across the bridge from Maysville, Germantown, and Mayslick on the Kentucky side of the river, and from Ripley, West Union and Russellville on the Ohio side!

Doors open for the event at 6:30pm, and show time is 7:00pm. Tickets are only $8 at the door, and only $6 in advance at any of WWC’s ticket outlets!

Matches already signed for this event include…

WWC Tag Team Championship Match
the Solar Powers: Jake Ashworth & Eclipso
defend the championship against
the Brotherhood: Marvel Trice & Princeton Travis
Will Profit’s duo of Eclipso & Ashworth have become one of the most popular duos in WWC history, and have proven to be virtually unbeatable as a team. However, Patrick Black’s Brotherhood have been a thorn in their side, desperately grasping at any opportunity to gain the Tag Team Championship. Although the Solar Powers retained their championship at “Last Laugh” with a pinfall victory, it was not without controversy. Due to interference and questionable judgment calls by referees Kara Killdare and the controversial Adam Fusion during the April title match, Black has petitioned the WWC Championship Committee for yet another championship match. The committee has granted Black’s request under two conditions. One, it will be the final challenge that Trice & Travis will have for the championship. The second stipulation is that Patrick Black will be banned from the arena. Will the Solar Powers turn away the challenge of the Brotherhood for the last time, or will the Brotherhood finally stand on their own as champions without help from Black?

WWC Heavyweight Championship Match
“Dangerous” Damien Kass
will defend the championship against
Dean “the Dream” Jablonski
Previously announced as the challenger for the WWC Heavyweight Championship on April’s “Last Laugh” event, Dean Jablonski, was forced to pull out of this match due to a scheduling conflict. With DDK having retained the Heavyweight Championship in a match with North American Champion Jimmy Malloy on that card, the WWC Championship Committee has determined that Jablonski will get his shot at the championship at “Fallout”! Back in February DDK defeated Jablonski to become to earn a title shot – a title shot that he has turned into a title reign! Now, DDK must face off with Jablonski once again, but this time the championship will be on the line! Will DDK be successful in his second title defense, or will Jablonski win the championship for the first time?

“Re-Enforcer” Devlin Anderson
versus
“Blacksheep” Benett Cole
At “Last Laugh” Devlin Anderson won a match to become the number one contender to the WWC Heavyweight Championship – a championship that Anderson desperately wants to regain from DDK. However, moments after winning the match, Benett Cole entered the ring and took Anderson out with extreme prejudice. In addition, Cole made an appearance after the Heavyweight Championship match that same evening, causing havoc. Cole obviously has his sights set on the Heavyweight Championship, but the “Re-Enforcer” stands in his way. This match is sure to be a slobberknocker, with championship implications!

Grudge Match
“Soviet Shooter” Nikita Allanov
goes one-on-one with
Canada’s Terry Reines
Terry Reines is a former WWC North American Champion, and a former stablemate of Nikita Allanov in “International Incident”. However, when Allanov and tag partner Ed Gonzales lost the WWC Tag Team Championship, the finger of blame was pointed at Reines, who suddenly found himself as a man with no friends. For months now Reines has been a thorn in the side of International Incident, and at “Fallout”, it all comes to a head when the “Soviet Shooter” squares off with the Canadian mat technician for the first time!

plus…
“Prettyboy” Jimmy Malloy
will be in action, defending the
WWC North American Championship!
Fan Favorite Jimmy Malloy has stated to the WWC Championship Committee that he is a fighting champion, and is willing to defend the championship against all challengers to his title. Who will the committee deem as the top challenger for the Malloy’s championship at “Fallout”?

Three big championship matches, and much more, including many of your WWC favorites and new exciting talent that is looking to make waves in front of the World Wrestling Coalition fans! Plus, there are always surprises and more from the World Wrestling Coalition – “Fallout” promises to be a great event for wrestling fans of all ages!

Discounted presale tickets are currently available – card subject to change!

Last Laugh Heads To Aberdeen Saturday!

The World Wrestling Coalition returns to action with a huge April event: “Last Laugh”. The action takes place at the Municipal Building in Aberdeen, OH, located at 99 Main Cross St. The action is only minutes away from Maysville, Germantown, and Mayslick on the Kentucky side of the river, and from Ripley, West Union and Russellville on the Ohio side!

Doors open for the event at 6:30pm, and show time is 7:00pm. Tickets are only $8 at the door, and only $6 in advance at any of WWC’s ticket outlets!

Matches already signed for this event include…

WWC Heavyweight Championship Match
“Dangerous” Damien Kass
will defend the championship!
The previously announced challenger for the WWC Heavyweight Championship, Dean Jablonski, was forced to pull out of this match due to a scheduling conflict. The WWC Championship Committee is determining who will face the new champion in his first defense at “Last Laugh”. “Violent” Bob Humperdink has stated to our webmaster that, at the latest, a new challenger will be named at the beginning of the card on Saturday night. “We are currently looking for a challenger that will give the fans an exciting match”, stated Humperdink. Will DDK be successful in his first title defense, and how will he react to the news of who he will now be defending the championship against?

WWC Tag Team Championship Match
the Solar Powers: Jake Ashworth & Eclipso
defend the championship against
the Brotherhood: Marvel Trice & Princeton Travis
Patrick Black’s Brotherhood have been a thorn in the side of Will Profit’s Solar Powers for months, but have not yet won the tag team championship from the fan favorites. Black has said that his team will have the last laugh, as at “Last Laugh”, the Solar Power’s championship will be on the line! But every WWC fan must be asking the question: will controversial referee Adam Fusion be involved in this match?

WWC North American Championship Match
“Prettyboy” Jimmy Malloy
defends the championship against
“Darkstar” Matt Taylor
Matt Taylor failed to win another shot at WWC Heavyweight Championship at the King of Extreme. Taylor covets that championship more than anything, and is desperate to get it back. Taylor thought that he could leap-frog to the front of the contender’s line by winning the North American title, but he lost it to Malloy in his first defense! Now, Taylor is gunning for Malloy to get back the North American Championship, and to get back in line for a heavyweight title shot!

Chain Match!
Scarry Gary
versus
Ganger
Ganger has earned a reputation as one of the most devious and underhanded wrestlers in the area, and he has his sights set on Scarry Gary! Gary, one of the most unusual personalities in professional wrestling today, did not take kindly to Ganger’s antics, especially when his equally unique valet, Nurse Sarah Bellum, became involved. Now, at “Last Laugh”, the two men will be connected by a steel chain in one of the most violent matches in professional wrestling. This is a don’t miss match!

Number One Contender Match
“Re-Enforcer” Devlin Anderson
versus
“Soviet Shooter” Nikita Allanov
A rematch from the finals of the “Unbreakable” tournament last year, this match will determine the top contender to the WWC Heavyweight Championship! Fresh off of his loss of the Heavyweight Championship to DDK, Anderson is looking to get a rematch for the championship. Allanov has been on a brutal tear recently, and has his eyes set on the top championship in WWC.

Spouse vs. Spouse!
“Angry” Ed Gonzales
squares off with his own wife
“Hardcore” Heather Owens
Ed Gonzales was surprised when, last October, he lost a match in stunning fashion to Malo Pescado. Gonzales ripped the mask off of Pescado to reveal not only a female underneath, but his own wife! Now Gonzales is between a rock and a hard place: defend his reputation by avenging his loss, or become a wife beater. What will happen when this married couple square off in a match at “Last Laugh”?

Three big championship matches, and much more, including more of your WWC favorites, including the return of Bennett Cole, Terry Reines, the highflying newcomer Justin Gage, “Ranger” Gary Krass, and more of the surprises that you can expect from the World Wrestling Coalition – the “Last Laugh” promises to be a great event for the whole family!

King Of Extreme 2011: Who’s The Odds On Favorite?

March 5, 2011 by WWC Owner

We here at WWCWeb.com had the opportunity to sit down with former King Of Extreme winner Ric Byrne to discuss his opinion on each of the contestants in this year’s annual King of Extreme event. At first we were looking for just a few quotes, but Ric went a step further, actually breaking down the odds on each of the contestants for us. Here’s his take on the contestants.

The commentary contained herein is the express opinion of Ric Byrne, and not that of the World Wrestling Coalition or www.wwcweb.com

Justin Gage
“I watched Justin keenly in his match against Matt Taylor at Heart Attack. He was impressive, but his offensive style is very high risk. This normally wouldn’t be a limiting factor but there’s not always a window of recovery time in KoE. Given the ever-changing rules and conditions of the match, all it takes is one minor mistake to find yourself eliminated. That said, he’s young and new to WWC, so the desire to make a name for himself might propel him into the Final Four.”
ODDS OF WINNING: 8 to 1

Princeton Travis
“Travis repeatedly surprises me, but in this sort of match, he’s going to have the Solar Powers breathing down his neck looking for some payback. The later he enters in Stage 1 the better, as it increases the chances of him being in the ring at the same time as his partner and mounting a joint offense. That said, I can’t count out the Patrick Black factor here, either. If Princeton makes it past the Stage 1 Battle Royal, he has a strong chance of making the Final Four.”
ODDS OF WINNING: 7 to 1

Jake Ashworth
“Jake’s won the KoE before, so he knows what it takes to get it done in this type of situation. That said, The Brotherhood handed the Solar Powers their first tag team loss ever at Heart Attack. Jake’s been known to lose his temper in the past, and that kind of distraction can cost you. I suspect he’ll go out early, but he’ll take one of the Brotherhood out with him.”
ODDS OF WINNING: 6 to 1

Terry Reines
“Terry is solid, a strong, strong performer on the mat. However much that will help him in the Stage 2 Submissions part of the match, this means he’ll be a little out of his element when things get chaotic in the Stage 3 Falls Count Anywhere portion and in the Final Four Ladder Match Stage. If he can keep his head about him after the Submissions round, he stands a solid chance. Could be a good dark horse candidate to win it all if he can let past grudges against Nikita Allanov die.”
ODDS OF WINNING: 5 to 1

Marvel Trice
“Marvel is the Brotherhood member who seems a bit more sadistic – this type of match puts him right in his element. Given that his partner Princeton Travis is also in the match, he stands a very strong chance of making it to the Final Four. Once there, his height gives him a decent advantage so long as he can avoid being grounded in one of the earlier stages. The other thing to figure is that he’s so used to breaking the rules to gain an advantage that I wonder how well he’ll do when the playing field is level.”
ODDS OF WINNING: 4 to 1

Eclipso
“The Masked Man From The Moon has several distinct advantages this time around – he’s competed in this match before, tends to keep a cool head and knows when to explode with the high risk offense and when to pull back and take control of the pace of the match. He’s made it to the Final Four before, and if he can stick tight with his Solar Power teammate Jake, they could both increase each other’s chances of making it to the last stage. Here’s hoping that the Powers’ manager, Will Profit, can counter The Brotherhood’s Patrick Black and make that happen.”
ODDS OF WINNING: 3 to 1

Nikita Allanov
“I almost hate to say this, but here’s a guy with the most potential to not only win the match, but to take someone out along the way. At Resolution, he put JT Stahr out, followed up by injuring DJ Tom Sharp so severely that Tom is looking to be out for at least a year. With that type of momentum on his side, Nikita could easily end up in the Final Four not just as a favorite, but as the only person capable of standing up and climbing the ladder to claim the crown. He has an added bonus of having wrestled against and alongside 3 of the other contestants in the past year, so he has added insight into the opposition that could allow him to play his opponent’s weaknesses into a win in his first KoE appearance.”
ODDS OF WINNING: 2 to 1

Matt Taylor
“It galls me to say this – but here is the hands down favorite to win this thing. Matt has been obsessed with only two things in the past year – Aaron Williams and the WWC Heavyweight Championship. Having forced Williams out of the company in a “Loser Leaves WWC” match at Resolution, Matt’s deranged campaign against Devlin Anderson in order to regain the WWC Heavyweight Title has become his sole focus. His willingness to go to any length or unpredictable extreme coupled with his nearly having won this match in the past, then adding that the King gets a guaranteed title shot makes Taylor the man to beat in this match. If I were in it, I’d focus on getting Matt out early, no matter who I had to ally with in order to do it. Otherwise, I’d be watching him wear the crown later that evening.”
ODDS OF WINNING: 1 to 1

There you have it folks, insight from not just WWC’s current Talent Relations Manager, but a former WWC Heavyweight, Tag, and King Of Extreme champion himself. Keep Ric’s commentary in mind when you head out to see WWC’s 8th Annual King of Extreme event, this Saturday, March 5th in Aberdeen Ohio!

King Of Extreme… This Saturday!

Fans, if you missed Heart Attack, you missed THE show of the year so far… with the stars of WWC jockeying for position to enter the fray for the King Of Extreme match, hoping to take home the “instant shot” at any WWC Title!

The KoE is the one of the most grueling matches in wrestling. The winner certainly earns their prize as they have to last past the Battle Royal round, the Submission Round, The Falls Count Anywhere Round, The Tables Round and the grand finale Ladder Match between the final four!

The potential entrants in that final four are almost as thrilling as the match itself: Nikita Allanov, Terry Reines, Matt Taylor, Justin Gage, Marvel Trice, Eclipso, Princeton Travis and Jake Ashworth are all scheduled to wrestle each other in time trials to determine the order of entry into the Stage 1 Battle Royal. Given the tempers and the names involved, this one’s a powder keg!

Speaking of powder kegs, WWC most unstable talent, Matt Taylor, lost the North American title to Jimmy Malloy at Heart Attack – this means that Malloy is going to have his first title defense at KoE!

When you mention title defenses, you need look no further than the WWC Heavyweight Championship – Devlin Anderson defeated Cody Hawk in a brutal match last month but he’ll have no chance to rest – DDK gets his turn at the King of the Mountain in the WWC this Saturday, with the title on the line!

This is the show people are going to be talking about for the rest of the year – so be sure to grab your seat ($6 Presale at ActiveCare Chiropractic in Maysville, $8 day or show) so that you can witness it first hand THIS SATURDAY March 5th, when WWC returns to their hometown of Aberdeen, OH at the Municipal Building (99 Main Cross St, Aberdeen, OH 45101). Doors open at 6:30, show starts at 7:00PM!

Watch this space tomorrow as a former KoE winner, Guest Columnist (and current WWC Talent Relations Manager) Ric Byrne stops by and breaks down the odds on all the contestants.
