For those of you who didn’t make it out to Pandemonium, you missed what many are calling a “turning point” for the WWC in 2011!

The big news is that WWC World heavyweight Champion “Dangerous” Damien Kass was dethroned by Jake Ashworth! This is the first time that Jake has held the WWC’s biggest prize, something that even former champion DDK recognized after the match by handing the belt over to Jake personally. We here at WWCWeb.com would also like to send our congratulations over to Ashworth!

Ashworth won’t have much time to rest, though – TitleClash is right around the corner. We already know who Jake’s first opponent will be, as Matt Taylor finally broke his losing streak against Devlin Anderson to win the #1 Contendership! So out TitleClash main event will be new champion Jake Ashworth against a former champion who beat Jake just a month ago at Last Laugh!

That’s not the only piece of TitleClash that shaped up from that particular match. After Taylor beat Devlin, the Brotherhood resumed their attack on anyone who might be a contender. This brought out DDK, who claimed he was tired of the Brotherhood’s interference, asking Devlin Anderson to partner with him at TitleClash to take on the Brotherhood!

We bid a fond farewell to Scarry Garry, who was one of two contestants in the inaugural “Who Wants To Be A Solar Power” contest. The other contestant, Justin Neal, felt slighted by Will Profit throughout the event, eventually challenging Garry to a match. Although Neal was triumphant, the fans rose to their feet for Scarry Garry. Even though Scarry Garry is leaving the WWC, he left behind his proteges – Nurse Sarah Bellum, AJB and Zakk Spade – collectively known as the Life Power Church. They intend to honor Garry’s legacy in WWC and look poised to make an impact.

DJ Tom Sharp won the Pandemonium scramble match, defeating Marvel Trice, Princeton Travis, AJB and Jason Legend in the process.

North American Champion Jimmy Malloy held on to his title by putting down Gee Gee.

Eclipso beat Zakk Spades in singles competition.
