Unbreakable Breaking News!

Earlier today, the WWC web team learned that WWC stars Eddie Gonzales and Terry Reines were both pulled from the 7th Anniversary Show, Unbreakable, due to injuries sustained in an off-site altercation between the duo.

This significantly changed the face of the tournament, as Nikita no longer has his comrade to back him up and Aaron Williams loses his opponent, leading speculation as to whether Aaron would receive the bye into the finals orginally slated to go to the winner of the match between him and Terry Reines.

WWC President Patrick Black announced that he had a solution to the problem… he pulled Williams from the tournament entirely, instead forcing him to defend his North American title against a powerhouse known as Chris Carnage!

“I felt that it would be a shame to not have the WWC North American Championship defended on our 7th Anniversary Show. Although I’m certain Aaron is disappointed in being removed from the tournament, I feel that it is in the best interests of the WWC fans that they be treated to a match between Aaron Williams and Chris Carnage.”

Given that Aaron was a favorite to win the tournament (and possibly win back the WWC World Heavyweight Championship from Matt Taylor), this almost seems to be a move made by Patrick to protect Matt Taylor from facing Williams again. Furthermore, although Carnage will be making his debut for the WWC, he is known is some circles as a brutal behemoth that has been managed in the past by – you guessed it – Patrick Black.

If you’re wondering (like we are) whether Patrick is on the up and up or if this is another one of his patented devious tactics, the only way to find out for sure will be to join us THIS Saturday, November 13th, as the WWC present Unbreakable in Aberdeen, OH!
